hitter....i`m not ignoring your post.....it`s just a very tough fight to take a side on and feel real confident......
even if i can`t commit on this one,i`ll get opinions from some guys i consider very solid and try and post their info before fight time.....
looks,at first glance, like they are begging you to take mosley....the guy won the first fight....but,his confidence has to be a little shaky....coming off 2 losses and a bad outing vs raul marquez......
de la hoya has proven that tough losses don`t shake his confidence.....he really beat trinidad(why he ran the last 5 rounds in that fight will be forever debated....fatigue?....thought it was in the bag?......biggest mistake osf his career.....)....imo,mosley is the only real loss on dlh`s resume....and he seems extremely intent on revenging that loss...
mentally, you have to think oscar has the edge......but,is this just the style that oscar can`t handle?.....like mosley with forrest?.....
the thing that scares me about mosley is that like forrest, dlh is a tall boxer that can keep mosley at the end of his punches....
in their first fight, oscar stepped into a slugfest inside....and got outquicked...this fell on the heels of oscar`s loss to trinidad in which he was heavily criticized in the mexican press and by mexican fans for running the last 5 rounds....
he felt obligated in the mosely fight to show his "machismo".....and it was a very bad strategic move.....
but,is this just a bad style match-up for dlh?.....i doubt he fights the same way in this bout....the gameplan for beating mosely was layed out by forrest....keep him at a distance...make him lunge....i don`t know how long mosely`s arms are....but he fights very short armed....you can`t throw long punches and be super quick doing it....not in combination....you have to keep mosely at a distance and make him lunge and make mistakes...
i`ll see what i can dig up.....
the mosely odds are tempting....and laying over 2-1 with dlh vs a guy that has shown he can beat him, scares me...
